
Elizabeth Hagarty

Elizabeth Hagarty was born and raised on Dharug land and now resides on Dharawal land, where she continues her lifelong commitment to improving the wellbeing of children, young people, and the communities that support them. She is a registered psychologist and Board-approved supervisor, with expertise in organisational psychology, leadership, trauma-informed practice, and systemic service design. Elizabeth holds a Master of Organisational Psychology and is a Certified Change Management Practitioner, with additional qualifications in community sector management. She began her career in residential treatment programs for children and young people in Out of Home Care. Since then, she has led and designed multidisciplinary teams and services across early psychosis, mental health, homelessness, and broader community services in both private and not-for-profit sectors. Currently, Elizabeth serves as Director of Psychological and Specialist Services, DCJ NSW where she drives innovation in service delivery, supports staff wellbeing in complex environments, and champions evidence-based approaches.
