Why Partner?

Network with Aboriginal Medical Services, ACCHOs, Aboriginal Corporations, PHNs, LHDs, NFPs and Government Departments in desperate need of solutions that will help Indigenous communities access timely, culturally informed, and high-quality health support.

1

Support remote and regional voices: Enable leaders from remote and regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) to attend, ensuring their lived experience and cultural knowledge are represented in national conversations.

2

Ensure diversity of stakeholders: Guarantee wide representation across justice, health, housing, education, child protection, and community services, creating the cross-sector collaboration needed to address overrepresentation in out-of-home care.

3

Advance Closing the Gap Target 12: Directly contribute to solutions for reducing the overrepresentation of Aboriginal children in care by supporting those working on the ground to share evidence-based solutions and shape policy reform.

4

Strengthen systemic reform efforts: Empower grassroots organisations to contribute insights into systemic change across justice, legal representation, and trauma-informed care. Their participation ensures reforms are informed by those delivering direct support to families.

5

Demonstrate sector leadership and commitment: Position your organisation as a champion of community-led, culturally safe approaches by removing barriers to access for smaller or underfunded organisations.

6

Invest in long-term change: By enabling community organisations to attend, bursary partners are investing in building capacity, knowledge exchange, and collective action that will create safer pathways for future generations of First Nations women and children.
